Indeed it is, Deviants and Deviettes...

What started as a simple error calculating my hours at work two weeks ago resulted in my paycheck being less than it should have been. Unfortunately, by the time it was corrected, I was already overdrawn and slapped with fees, so as of this writing I am still in the red. I just hope the hell that this coming pay period will fix this and still leave me with something to live on.

Thankfully, the drama stops there.

Recently I picked up the game "Enemy Front." For those who don't know, it's a WW2 shooter where you play as an American journalist who works alongside various Resistance groups in Europe during the Nazi occupation. The main story takes place in Warsaw, Poland, with the hero telling the other parts of his story in flashbacks. Usually a story told through flashback can be a risky move in a game, but in this case it works perfectly.

My thoughts? The controls seem a bit stiff, the graphics aren't very impressive when compared to other recent titles, but the guns are authentic, the combat is satisfying as hell, the voices all feel genuine, the environments are great, and the story is engaging and absorbing. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Howdy peeps! Back in the 'hood and with a new, more upbeat journal!

As you can tell, I'm on a major craze for the game Dust: An Elysian Tail. For those who've played it, can you blame me? It's got all kinds of things I love in life, all in one convenient package! Platforming, sword combat, RPG elements, an open world, quests galore, hidden items and secrets...hilariously out of place healing items...and an anthro-fantasy realm? How can I not enjoy it?

I've completed the Easy mode, now I'm on Normal and trying to unlock 100% completion, which would be a first for me as a gamer. Before now, the closest I came was Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon...but I was stopped by possibly the most annoying Achievement I've ever seen. "Kill a Blood Dragon with the bow and arrow"...what. The. Ass.

Other than that, working my job and working on fanfiction, and from time to time I do a sketch. Some might say I'm doing too much at once, but hell...all part of being me, I guess LOL

But, due to unfortunate circumstance, I've had to take control of this here account for my poor creator. Not to worry, he's doing just fine and I'll be sure to relay any important updates to any faithful watchers who remain!

As those faithful few may have noticed, the gallery seems a bit more vacant. Well, let's just say that times change as do people..or in my case, ponies...and so do personal tastes. So the gallery has been cleaned up of unnecessary or unnoticed submissions, making room for a whole new repertoire of artwork! New fanfics, new pictures, even a profile or two!! New management means new direction, and I've got plenty to share with all of you! ...if I could just keep myself in the chair long enough to actually focus LOL
